A great time at Bat City Scaregrounds
I don’t do a lot of reviews, but sometimes I encounter something that really needs to be shared. I had a great time at Bat City Scaregrounds, and I think you will too. Yes, this place feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere, but it’s actually not too bad to get to. Parking is ample and free. Flashing arrow signs help keep you pointed in the right direction as you make your way in. You might want to have a light to get you through the parking lot, which is dark and a little rugged. Your phone light will do. As you walk into the gate Scarah, Damsel of…

Gratitude is connected to mental health
November has a number of celebrations connected with gratitude. In the wheel of the year we are entering the post-harvest time, where we take stock before the winter and look at what we have. It makes sense that gratitude would be a part of this time. But, part of a manifesting lifestyle is to be grateful for each thing that we bring about. Part of the follow-through of sending something out to the universe is to give thanks for what we anticipate coming to us, and to give thanks for the signs we see of our wishes coming true. Psychologists observe that expressing gratitude is an important part of our…

Sharing your house with the “others”
From time to time people will talk to me about dealing with spirit activity in their homes. My first question is always what they want. Banishment is not always the answer. If a spirit is malevolent and disruptive getting it to move on may be the only choice. In many cases, though, co-habitation with a spirit makes perfect sense. It can merely be a matter of expressing your authority and laying down some rules, such as no disruptions after 11:00 pm. When you establish a respectful relationship with spirits, they can be a guardian of your home, better than any watchdog. Could you live with a ghost in your home?…

My takeaway from our Paranormal Weekend in Bartlett, TX
Paranormal events wipe me out. I usually have to take a day or so to get my brains back and try not to encounter anything more taxing than SpongeBob. The Paranormal Weekend in Bartlett, TX took me three days! From the moment I got there it was all on, and it really didn’t stop until I drove away. I’m going to try to give you my own take-away from this event. First, it was a small group of people. This was fantastic, because everyone really got to know each other. Madame Zee and I got to understand where each person was coming from and focus on helping them to achieve…

September Travels
Most of the events I do are in the Austin area. There are plenty of local corporate activities and house parties to keep me busy. This month, however, is keeping me on the road! Labor Day weekend saw me producing a series of late night programs for a local convention. We brought in performers from Las Vegas, Arkansas, and Baltimore to give people some after dark spookiocity. It was all very well received. Here is me with Lucy Darling, a performer who has been featured at the Magic Castle in Hollywood. Then, I went to Lewisville, Texas, and participated in the Arcane Relics Summit, an event for creators and performance…
